Casino Niagara, by Clifton Hill
This page covers Casino Niagara for readers starting from Dundas. It sets out where the room sits, when it opened and what runs on the floor at which hours. It also covers the entry, parking and shuttle details worth knowing before the longer trip east.
Part 1
Worth the trip from Dundas?
Most Dundas casino evenings start on Highway 5, at Elements Casino Flamboro beside the harness track. Casino Niagara is a different proposition. It sits 74.2 km east-southeast of central Dundas, measured in a straight line, not by road. Flamboro is 6.8 km northwest by the same measure.
The address is 5705 Falls Ave, Niagara Falls, right beside Clifton Hill. Fallsview Casino Resort is about 1.4 km away, also in a straight line. The two rooms are close enough to share a shuttle, covered below. Whether the trip pays off depends on what the evening is for.
This room has outlasted its original plan. Casino Niagara opened on December 9, 1996, the second casino in Ontario. It was first planned as a temporary facility until Fallsview was built. OLG owns it, and Mohegan has run it since June 11, 2019, under a 21-year agreement.
Part 2
Floor and hours around the clock
Hours are the simple part here. Casino Niagara is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, holidays included. Slots and electronic table games are always available.
Live table games keep shorter hours, running from noon to 3:45 a.m. daily. Anyone planning a late hand at a live table should keep that cut-off in mind.
Poker has its own room. Players can call (905) 353-7000 to join the wait list up to 90 minutes before arriving. Sports bettors will find a sportsbook at the LEV2L Sportsbar. The guide does not list machine or table counts.
Part 3
Entry, parking and the Momentum card
Entry rules cover the whole property, not just the gaming floor. Everyone coming in, including for a meal at one of the dining spots, must be 19 or older. Children are not permitted on the property at all. Security asks for ID from anyone who appears under 30. Two pieces are required from anyone who appears 21 or younger, and only valid government-issued photo ID counts.
Parking is on-site and self-serve, at rates that change. Momentum members can get it complimentary, based on their rated play. Momentum is Mohegan's rewards card, shared with Fallsview. Joining is free at 19 or older with government-issued photo ID, at Casino Guest Services at either property. The same card covers the free shuttle to Fallsview, daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., about every 30 minutes, and partner hotel key cards work too.

Questions
Can children come in for a meal at Casino Niagara?
Children cannot come in, even for a meal. Everyone entering the property, dining spots included, must be 19 or older. Expect ID checks for anyone who looks under 30.
How does the poker wait list work?
Players call (905) 353-7000 to join the wait list. The call can be made up to 90 minutes before arriving. From Dundas, that means part of the trip east can overlap with time on the list.
